UPDATE: customer service actually offered me a supposedly fresher copy to send out in the next 48 hours, and I do not have to return the one on hand, which is a deal

I am so upset. The first book came in from a US warehouse and was labeled as "very good" condition, and indeed was in quite good condition. The other book that I paid $17.99 for came in and was supposed to be in "very good" condition too, and it fell apart while i flipped through it. I'll still read it, but I'm trying to get my money back, or at least a partial refund because I don't wanna have to go through the return process that I hear is a pain in the ass with them (theyve been unresponsive so far). Its something ill only be able to read once. Thank goodness its v v short.

What's the most concerning is that there's a book that my mom wanted for my nephew that I found on there for less than $5 with my discount amd quoted as "very good" condition, and. its listed on Amazon as over $400. I added a couple books for me, and one for my dad, but now I'm paranoid about the actual condition of the books coming in on Friday.

The one was listed in "good" condition, so I think that's gonna engulf itself. But then again all of these books are coming from a US warehouse. Not sure if that matters…

Could the different warehouses have different expectations for books? Does the World of Books US operate different than World of Books? UK? I don't understand why they would because I ordered them through the app. I did not order them through the eBay store.
Any suggestions on how to go about this? I do think the hardbacks will be okay enough, but like I said, I am super worried.

Never buying from WOB again.
