MANILA, Philippines–The Philippine men’s football team was handed a 1-0 loss by Asean Hyundai Cup champion Vietnam on Saturday to start off its campaign in the inaugural Fifa Asean Cup in Bandung, Indonesia. A goal from Vietnam’s Nguyen Dinh Bac in the 25th minute proved to be the difference as the Philippines couldn’t convert its opportunities to at least salvage a draw in their match held at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.
