I just finished Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. I had heard amazing things about it and was stoked when my hold came in. After finishing it, it just did not live up to the hype for me. I enjoyed the first 3/4ths but the ending really fizzled out.
There was so much time spent in explaining the house in such amazing detail and then it just seemed to be dismissed as "another world". It almost seems like there is another book that I'm supposed to read.
