Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has reportedly been released from custody in the United Kingdom after the woman who filed a case against him allegedly withdrew her complaint, according to social media influencer Peller.

Peller made the claim during a recent livestream when a viewer asked if Poco Lee had been freed.

“Yes o guys, Poco Lee is out. They talk say that girl that sue Poco Lee say the girl e run away from the case, say e leave the case. God go bless the girl, na God go bless am, is a good person,” Peller said.

He added that the complainant’s decision to drop the case led to the dancer’s release.“The girl that make Poco Lee go to prison, the girl comot the case, UK lawyer con leave Poco Lee,” he further stated.

Poco Lee had earlier been reported to be on remand in a UK prison, with a plea hearing scheduled for September, following allegations of sexual offences.

However, Peller’s claims that the complainant withdrew the case and that this resulted in Poco Lee’s release have not been independently confirmed by UK court or prosecution authorities.
