Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen gave Star Wars fans a pleasant Halloween surprise. The duo, who play Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, dressed up as Force ghosts earlier this week. The actors’ Halloween get-ups got fans excited for Ahsoka’s upcoming second season.
Dawson posted the photo on Instagram on October 31, captioning, “May the Force ghosts be with you,” followed by two ghost emojis. The photo shows her and Christensen wrapped in blue fabric, which makes them appear like Force ghosts from Star Wars. The two were photographed in front of the Los Angeles Comic Con standee.

While the post playfully references their roles in George Lucas’ universe, it also got fans asking serious questions. Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker has already appeared as a Force ghost in the franchise before. A remastered version of Return of the Jedi featured Christensen appearing as a Force ghost in front of Luke Skywalker. However, fans were confused about whether Dawson dressing up as one has inadvertently spoiled the ending of Ahsoka. The character was very much alive at the end of Ahsoka Season 1.
While their animated counterparts were voiced by different actors in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the duo have shared the screen in the Disney+ show. The season finale of Ahsoka saw the titular character settle in Noti with Sabine and Huyang, with Anakin’s Force ghost watching over them.
Disney released the first teaser for Ahsoka Season 2 earlier in August, with footage that surprised fans with its emotional impact. The Star Wars canon around Ahsoka is also expanding with a new Ezra Bridger story arriving before Season 2.
Ahsoka Season 2 debuts on Disney+ on January 20, 2027.
