Peacock‘s releases this week feature R-rated comedies with Salma Hayek and Ryan Reynolds, plus more new titles.

Arriving on November 1, The Hitman’s Bodyguard is a 2017 action-comedy. It follows Michael Bryce, played by Ryan Reynolds, a once top-tier protection agent. His career falls apart after one of his high-profile clients is assassinated. Joining the lineup are Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek, Élodie Yung, Joaquim de Almeida, and Richard E. Grant.

Joining it on the same day is its sequel, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. The 2021 film brings back unlicensed bodyguard Michael Bryce, Samuel L. Jackson as hitman Darius Kincaid, and his fiery con-artist wife Sonia Kincaid, played by Salma Hayek. Interpol blackmails the trio into stopping a Greek terrorist who plots to cripple Europe’s power grid.

Meanwhile, a Peacock exclusive releasing on October 28 is Minions & Monsters, directed by Pierre Coffin and Patrick Delage. The 2026 animated comedy is the third film in the Minions prequel series and the seventh overall in the Despicable Me franchise.

Set in 1920s Hollywood, it follows outcast Minions James, Henry and Ed who stumble onto a film set and become silent-movie sensations. Their fame does not last long as talkies arrive and they fail to deliver dialogue, which ends their careers.

For reality fans, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 finale and its After Show Podcast finale stream on Peacock on October 30. The historic 20th season marked the full-time return of the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson. She joined returning Housewives Shannon Storms Beador, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson and Jennifer Pedranti, along with newcomer Carmella Garcia.
