A 2024 supernatural horror movie is joining Peacock’s library today. The latest offering features Enola Holmes star Sam Claflin and Alien: Isolation’s William Hope in key roles, hitting the streaming service nearly two years after its initial theatrical debut.
Bagman, directed by Colm McCarthy, begins streaming on Peacock today. It arrives just in time for spooky season, joining other streaming titles like Lisa Frankenstein, Crystal Lake, and the original Friday the 13th.

McKee is haunted by small occurrences in his house and is convinced that a sinister entity is looking to invade his house.
As the days go by and more incidents occur, McKee is reminded of his close encounter with the Bagman, a local monster of folklore who kidnaps well-mannered children. When it seems like the entity has returned and is after McKee’s son, a series of incidents begins that bring Patrick face-to-face with his childhood fears.
Apart from Claflin and Hope, the movie also stars a talented cast of actors. These include Antonia Thomas, who plays Patrick’s wife, Steven Cree as Patrick’s elder brother Liam McKee, and Caréll Vincent Rhoden as Jake McKee, Patrick’s son. Adelle Leonce, Henry Pettigrew, Sharon D. Clarke, Neil Linpow, and Will Davis also star in the movie in various roles.
The movie practically sunk after its release, making $1.8 million against its estimated $12-15 million budget. It received critical reviews as well, currently sitting at 36% on the Popcornmeter on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes and 4.7/10 on IMDb. It does not have an official Tomatometer score.
