Preserving the city skyline was the main priority for the site of the São Paulo Museum of Art. To keep the view open, Lina Bo Bardi suspended the heavy glass and concrete gallery on massive structural brackets. This engineering choice left a vast public plaza completely free underneath the building, which was completed in 1968 in São Paulo, Brazil.
