There are a lot of great series that I recommend, from delightful middle grade to atmospheric procedural. There’s also a YA murder mystery set at an exclusive college, a Japanese murder mystery with a cat, forensic analysis applied to a Middle Ages crime, a WTF plot, a fun graphic novel, an Agatha Christie manga adaptation, and more!

In super exciting news, there is now an official manga adaptation of the classic remote mystery that has influenced countless murder mysteries. Aya Nikaido’s art does a great job of putting you right into the story of guests arriving on an island and having their past bad deeds exposed. You’re going to want to pre-buy Vol. 2, which is listed as releasing in January 2027.
