The national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Seriake Dickson, on Saturday held a consultative and reconciliation meeting with the party’s candidates, leaders, and stakeholders in Imo State.


In a statement shared on his verified X account, Dickson described the meeting as “very fruitful.” 


The session was led by former Imo State Governor Chief Achike Udenwa, the party’s state leader.Dickson said all participants agreed to work together for the success of NDC candidates at every level. 


He urged party leaders and candidates to serve as instruments of reconciliation and to build on the first meeting by holding further discussions aimed at achieving total unity and comprehensive reconciliation involving every stakeholder.


He also announced that the party would soon deploy a team of senior officers to Imo State to support the ongoing reconciliation efforts.


Dickson thanked Chief Udenwa for the leadership he continues to provide in the state and encouraged him to do more with the backing of the national leadership.
