Kenny probably hasn't found a safer group of friends either, and Randy will most likely turn every manageable situation into a disaster involving the whole city.
The renaming proves that South Park doesn't need a full episode to start a joke. South Park has always turned world news into funny content, and this time they are doing it again. Sometimes the news changes so fast that the show feels less like satire and more like a weekly recap made with characters that look like baby boys wearing little hats. Until the new episodes arrive, fans have a few days to practice saying South America without picturing an entire continent. Anyway, whether the new name lasts or disappears as soon as the joke has run its course, it has already done its job. People are talking about the show again. And how could we not?
