A new Avengers: Doomsday release has fans convinced about Tom Holland‘s involvement in the film. These new clues stem from the latest collection released from the supercharged Ray-Ban x MARVEL line, which features eyewear inspired by Marvel characters.

As per the official Ray-Ban website, Marvel Studios and Ray-Ban dropped a special Earth-616 capsule collection featuring custom shades inspired by four forces: Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom, and Deadpool.

Given the merchandise rollout, fans are now convinced this lineup confirms Holland’s Spider-Man will feature heavily in the upcoming Avengers installment, even though his name was noticeably omitted from the initial official cast list.

The latest Marvel release has sparked fresh speculation about the web-slinger’s next big-screen appearance

While the custom frames celebrate four primary anchors of the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe, the web-slinger’s inclusion has fueled intense online chatter regarding his next theatrical outing. Spider-Man’s inclusion in the exact same collection as other confirmed Avengers: Doomsday characters is hinting that Marvel views his presence as structurally crucial to the film’s cross-promotion.

Since Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day were reportedly being shot at the same location at the same time, it was highly speculated that Holland might have secretly shot minor but narrative-heavy scenes for Doomsday during production blocks at Pinewood Studios, effectively bridging his standalone Brand New Day directly into Doomsday. This merchandising leak lines up with those reports.

The Spider-Man Wayfarer Folding shades are priced at $249. Their description reads, “Built for any city mission, this special edition of Wayfarer Folding frames embodies the restless instinct of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Webbing wraps up and down the temples of the glasses, while a special message engraved on the bridge-hinge awaits its wearer. The pair’s square, foldable silhouette, designed to rest comfortably in pockets, also features Spider-Man’s icon on the lens and temple tips.”

At the time of writing this, it remains to be officially confirmed whether Holland will be a part of Doomsday or not.

Avengers: Doomsday hits the theaters on December 18, 2026.
