Standing along Agra’s Yamuna River Promenade, the giant 26-foot-tall Lord Laddu Gopal statue is hard to miss. Created by the Agra Municipal Corporation as part of its "Waste to Wonder" initiative, the sculpture was built using more than two tonnes of discarded iron and steel, turning scrap metal into a striking piece of public art. It features a striking peacock feather that towers over the Ambedkar Bridge.

The statue represents Lord Krishna in his child form and celebrates Agra’s connection to the Braj region. Located near the Yamuna View Point, it has become a popular attraction for both locals and tourists. The statue is a great reminder of how waste materials can be transformed into something meaningful, beautiful, and culturally significant.

Best seen from the Yamuna view point as you approach the Ambedkar Bridge.
