RC Strasbourg Alsace defender Soumaila Coulibaly (22) is currently in Swansea as talks over a move continue, as per a report from Onze Mondial.
Swansea City have been in talks with Le Racing over a move for the defender for several days, the publication understands. However, those talks have been difficult and as the clock ticks down to the end of the transfer window, an agreement has yet to be reached. However, in anticipation of a potential agreement, Coulibaly already finds himself in Wales.
Coulibaly has spent the last two seasons on loan at Stade Brestois. Upon his return to Alsace this summer, the defender had hoped to have time to consider his future, but Le Racing’s recruitment drive in his sector of the pitch means that he has little prospect of game time. Despite interest from AJ Auxerre and from Italy, he was sold on a move to Swansea, who are now running out of time to strike a deal with RCSA.
