Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the departure of Portuguese midfielder Miguel Reisinho with immediate effect.
Reisinho had joined the Brazilians at the start of last season but he was never a regular under coach Miguel Cardoso.
The 27-year-old’s departure free-up the club’s foreign spots, paving way for Sundowns to bring in a new foreign international.
As things stand, Sundowns have a number of foreign internationals, including Marcelo Allende, Arthur Sales and Nuno Santos among others.
Now, with more departures confirmed, it remains to be seen if Cardoso would be tempted to reinforce his squad further.
Reisinho featured in just 14 competitive matches for the Tshwane giants during his stay, scored twice and registered a single assist.

THE BRAZILIANS TIE DOWN THATO SIBIYA
In other news, Sundowns have confirmed handing youngster Thato Sibiya a long-term contract extension.
This despite the fact that the 20-year-old defender is curently on a season-long loan deal with French Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille.
Lille have an option to buy Sibiya at the end of his loan deal, and this means they would have to trigger a buy-out clause inserted in the player’s new contract.
