In 2011, Taylor Swift generously donated 6,000 books to bolster local libraries in Berks County amid looming budget cuts. This pivotal support allowed the Reading Public Library to enrich its programs and attract thousands of community members. By 2025, the library circulated over 182,000 items and continued to foster engagement through various initiatives, proving Swift’s contribution remains vital for the region's library services to this day.
