Beautycon may be over, but great products are forever.
Over the course of the day, thousands of beauty lovers descended on Los Angeles to test, swatch, spritz, debate, and inevitably add a few more things to their already-overflowing beauty routines. But with seemingly every corner of the event offering something new to try, the products that stuck with us were the ones that kept coming up in conversation long after Brooke DeVard and Sir John closed us out in a commencement ceremony.
Some had people lining up to get closer. Others became talking points during panels, demos, and packed classes. A few came attached to founders and creators whose influence on beauty goes well beyond what’s sitting on a shelf. And then there were the products that simply made us stop and ask, Wait, what is that?
That’s the thinking behind this year’s Beautycon Culture Creators: the products, brands, and beauty ideas that gave people something to talk about.
From Keke Palmer turning a Pilates class into one of the weekend’s hottest tickets to the hair mask inspired by Cardi B’s now-famous DIY concoctions, these are the Beautycon standouts we’re still thinking about.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Bala Yoga Mat LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Keke Palmer hosts a pilates session during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Keke Palmer can make just about anything feel like an event, and apparently that includes Pilates. Her Practice by Palmer session brought a different kind of beauty ritual to Beautycon: one centered on movement, community, and actually taking care of yourself instead of adding another step to your skincare routine.
The mats are part of that moment, filling the floor as attendees joined Palmer for a Beautycon workout that proved wellness deserves a seat at the beauty table, too. Consider this your reminder that sometimes the best beauty accessory isn’t in your makeup bag.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Maed Revive Lip Balm for Barrier Repair LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Denise Vasi attends 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Leon Bennett/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)There are full classes, and then there are Beautycon full classes. Denise Vasi’s Maed session drew a packed crowd, giving us a pretty convincing indication that people are curious about how the founder is strategically building her brand.
The Revive Lip Balm for Barrier Repair is an easy entry point into the Maed Universe. Rather than treating lip balm as an afterthought you buy at checkout, the formula approaches lips like skin, focusing on hydration and barrier support. Because if we’re going to have a multi-step routine for our faces, our lips probably deserve slightly more than whatever goo has been rolling around at the bottom of our bags since February.
DashDividers_1_500x100 FORVR Mood Mini Coffret Wardrobe Set LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Jackie Aina speaks onstage during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Jackie Aina walking into Beautycon was always going to cause a stir. Long before launching FORVR Mood, Aina helped change who got to participate in (and be centered in) the online beauty conversation. So seeing the creator-turned-founder back among the community that has followed her evolution felt appropriately full circle.
Because of that, just one FORVR Mood fragrance isn’t enough. The Mini Coffret Wardrobe Set captures what makes the lineup so fun: fragrance treated less like a precious finishing touch and more like an actual wardrobe. With multiple scents to switch between depending on how you’re feeling, what you’re wearing or whatever version of yourself showed up that morning.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Made By Mitchell Curve Case Cream Makeup Palette LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Mitchell Halliday speaks during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Leon Bennett/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)If you’ve ever fallen into the beauty side of TikTok, Made By Mitchell probably needs little introduction. The brand has built the kind of following that can turn a colorful cream palette into an entire genre of makeup content.
At Beautycon, that influence moved off our screens. The Curve Case Cream Makeup Palette represents the maximalist, play-with-your-makeup energy that has made the brand such a force, with creamy pigments designed for sculpting, bronzing, blushing, and generally ignoring the idea that makeup needs to be subtle. Sir John shouting out the brand and using it during one of his classes certainly didn’t hurt either.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Huda Beauty Easy Blur FoundationSome recommendations carry a little more weight than others. When Sir John, the makeup artist responsible for more iconic beauty looks than we have room to list here, starts talking, we listen.
At Beautycon, Huda Beauty’s Easy Blur Foundation earned a few mentions from the pro. The foundation is designed to deliver a smooth, blurred finish without making skin look like it’s been buried underneath makeup, which helps explain why it stood out in a category where everyone claims to have cracked the code on flawless skin.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Grow-Good Get Rich Hydrating Mask LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Cardi B attends 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Before Grow Good was sitting on store shelves, there was Cardi B in her kitchen whipping up a DIY hair mask. The rapper’s homemade concoctions became their own internet event, but the story behind them went deeper than virality: Cardi has spoken about the Dominican beauty rituals and family recipes that shaped the way she learned to care for her hair.
The Get Rich Hydrating Mask brings that history into the Grow-Good line, turning a ritual rooted in Cardi’s own hair journey into something everyone can scoop out of a jar. It’s exactly the kind of beauty story we love: personal, culturally specific, a little internet-famous, and now sitting in our shower.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Mielle Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera Deep Hydration Multi-Tasking Leave-In Conditioner LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: (L-R) Ava Pearl, Mia Rodriguez and Monique Rodriguez speak onstage during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Leon Bennett/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)When Mielle founder Monique Rodriguez showed up at Beautycon, she wasn’t exactly introducing herself to a new audience. Mielle has spent years becoming a fixture in textured-hair routines, and its newest launches prove the brand isn’t interested in coasting on the success of its viral predecessors.
Enter the Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera Deep Hydration Multi-Tasking Leave-In Conditioner, a newer addition that’s already landed among Mielle’s best sellers. Designed to hydrate, detangle, and refresh curls without weighing them down, it’s the kind of do-a-little-bit-of-everything product we can’t stop talking about. And with Rodriguez taking the Beautycon stage with her daughter Mia Rodriguez, it felt like a fitting reminder that one viral oil was never the whole Mielle story.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Naked Beauty Fragrance Neroli Green Tea LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Brooke DeVard speaks onstage during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Paras Griffin/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Brooke DeVard has spent years talking about everyone else’s beauty products. Now, she’s giving us one of her own.
At Beautycon, the Naked Beauty founder and Refinery29 Chief Content Officer shared the story behind Neroli Green Tea, a fragrance developed with the same community-first approach that’s made her podcast such a destination for beauty obsessives. DeVard has discussed bringing her audience into decisions surrounding the fragrance and even its packaging, essentially turning followers into an unofficial focus group along the way. That’s what makes this one particularly fitting for Culture Creators.
DashDividers_1_500x100 Chillhouse Tips Off LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton attends 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Leon Bennett/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Press-on nails have gotten very good. Taking them off without destroying your natural nails? That’s where things get dicey. Chillhouse Tips Off is Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton’s answer to the less glamorous half of the at-home manicure equation. It’s a nourishing remover designed to help melt away glue so you can take off your Chill Tips without the picking, peeling, and inevitable regret.
Ramirez-Fulton brought that problem-solving founder energy to Beautycon as the University’s Dean of Business, making Chillhouse an especially fitting Culture Creator. The brand helped make cool, design-forward press-ons feel like a legitimate manicure choice rather than a last-minute beauty emergency. And now one of its best sellers tackles what happens when you’re finally ready to take them off. Because apparently the real luxury is keeping your natural nails intact.
Phlur Vanilla Canyon LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 19: A view of the Refinery29 activation during 2026 Beautycon University powered by Refinery29 at Rolling Greens DTLA on September 19, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Leon Bennett/Getty Images for Beautycon/Sundial Media & Technology Group)Some fragrances make you lean in for a second sniff, and Phlur’s Vanilla Canyon was one of them. The scent had a spot in Beautycon’s Refinery29 Fragrance Award gallery, where attendees could sample the winning scents and even take samples home, giving the fragrances their flowers instead of simply admiring them from afar.
Vanilla Canyon takes a note that can easily skew sugary and gives it a cooler, more unexpected twist. But what made it feel right for this list was the way the fragrance became its own conversation at Beautycon. In a weekend packed with makeup launches, hair demos, and skin care, this scent still managed to get people to line up of for a whiff to take home with them.
