Love is in the air…

Not many things are as beautiful as love. Getting to meet "your person". The one you choose to spend your life with, the one who loves you even when they are not obliged to, the one who helps you even when you say you don't need help, the one who proves to you that you are worthy and lovable every single day. I love when people tell the story of how they met their partners; it's crazy how someone can start as completely unknown and end up being the love of your life. I'm the kind of person who thinks that there is one person destined to be with you; it may seem dumb or childish, and probably it is. But I like the idea that an invisible string ties you to someone. The tie may get tangled and knotted, but in the end, you will still find that person who you were tied to. I know, too cheesy; I don't care. I love love, and that's why no one will ever be able to break my ideal of it.

I also like when people talk about the relationship they were in before finding their person. It tells you a lot about how they are as a person. What do you think about your ex? Are you still friends? Do you hate each other? Are you cordial? Some relationships end in the most horrible ways; they drain the life out of the people involved and make them tired of being with anyone else ever again. That sensation of being overwhelmed by the idea of simply going on a date may seem too hard, but I promise you, it ends one day. You don't hate love forever; you can still find someone worth loving after all that. And, in the end, you will not think so badly of that tumultuous time you went through; it was horrible, but it ended, and that is the important thing. You ended a horrible thing and moved on to find someone with whom you won't end up like before. Things and people change; don't close yourself off to one of the most beautiful things just because of a bad past.
