There is still more than a month before Thanksgiving break, which means that teachers are going to be pulling their hair out  and wishing they chose a different profession until then. Memes are the only cure for that level of stress.

When I was a kid, I liked to think of myself as a good student. I always wanted to please my teachers, and I was never a particularly disruptive kid in class. There were some exceptions to this rule, and I hope all the teachers who are here to enjoy these teacher memes can forgive me for the pain that I've caused to two teachers in particular.

When I was in 8th grade, my friend Brooks and I went into our science teacher's classroom, and put a stink bomb in the trash cans. I have to admit, this was a pretty immature prank for 14-year-olds. That's the kind of prank that you would expect a 3rd grader to pull, but to be fair, when we were in 3rd grade, we didn't have access to a product stinky enough to stink up a whole classroom. The teacher actually evacuated the classroom because she was nervous it was a gas leak. In a way, it was! We never ended up getting caught or getting in trouble for it, which is surprising, because our school definitely had security cameras and they could've checked that we had snuck into the classroom during lunchtime. Maybe our school had faith that we wouldn't do such a childish thing, but they shouldn't have.

The other incident is objectively so much funnier than a stench. One day in 3rd grade, I decided that I didn't want to do the word problems on the bottom on my homework, so I just cut them off with scissors and turned it in. My teacher, Mrs. Williams, confronted me about it, and I lied and said that I didn't know what happened to the bottom half of my paper: it just came that way! It could be easy to judge myself for this, but I never did it again. Even though I didn't formally get in trouble, my teacher calling me out was enough to put away the scissors for good.
