When it's not even October, and you already blew through your Halloween budget

Time is relative, and I can't physically wait another month to start my favourite time of the year. If it were for me, it would be spooky season all year round. Look, some people act like this around Christmas, and some people act like this around Halloween; at this rate, just let us be happy. We desperately need to get our hopes up.

I confess I will act like this on Christmas as well; I just love festivities! I love decorating the house; I love the feeling of expectation; I love getting together with other people; I love planning outfits and fun parties! Honestly, I think we should have more festivities to make the year more fun.

All that said, I still haven't thought about my costume this year, but I guess the huge dark circles I have around my eyes are spooky enough. What I do know is that I'm going to host a horror movie night at my place and I'm going to serve all kinds of creepy snacks. Maybe I should dress up as one of the characters.

Growing up I was a big fan of horror movies, I kinda liked the feeling of being a little scared. To this day The exorcist is one of my favourite films, I think the photography is outstanding and that it changed how we think about horror forever. Horror is for sure an underdeveloped genre, it has many trashy films and very few masterpieces. Trust me, I've seen them all.

Has anyone else entered their spooky era already?
