As previously announced (and fully expected before that), CCP/Fenris has unlocked the rest of the reward track for the Crimson Harvest event.
Crimson Harvest Intensifies
The total track was extended from 1,000 to 1,500 points, which added the following items:
- Blood Raider Crimson Mark SKIN for the Leshak (Blood Raider track)
- Tetrimon Crimson Mark SKIN for the Leshak (Tetrimon track)
- Trinary Complex – Unlimited SKINR Pattern
- 50,000 Skill Points
- New character portrait background – the Crimson Totality Background
- The Blood Raider Ship Crate, which contains a random blueprint copy for any available Blood Raider ship, including the new Akoman attack battlecruiser and the fabled Molok titan.
That means people will be out in force once more running down the various event sites. I mean, the chance for a Molok BPC is not nothing.
I worked ahead a bit. I did the trader purchase task, which was worth 250 points.
150 items received required
I bought 150 multiplasmids that cost just 15 of the mutated blood sample currency to finish that off.
I was going to save that until after the update dropped, but a couple more groups declared war on us, so I suspect the plan is to camp the Tetrimon trader during peak hours to try and pop anybody seeking to get that done.
The event store for the Order of St. Tetrimon
I would probably be safe enough during my usual off peak time, but why take the risk?
I also took another run through the Hollow Outbreak sites (50 points) and the exploration sites (100 points) without turning any of them in until this update dropped. So I was almost immediately at 1,400 of 1,500 points.
1,400 points into the final track
For the final 100 points the easiest path would probably be to just do two more passes at the Hollow Outbreak sites. While things are suddenly active again, late in the evening Pacific time I could probably find enough of those… you only need 4 final kills for 50 points… to finish up quickly enough.
But I decided to go with the exploration sites instead, because that aligns more with my side task for this even, which is to get the achievement for visiting all of the systems in Amarr space.
I am currently at 574 of the 689 total systems visited in order to finish that off.
Achievement Progress
The remaining systems are mostly in the Domain region, which has a 189 systems, with a few constellations left in Aridia to pick up.
The handy aspect of combining the two is that chasing down systems I have not visited… or have not visited since the achievement was created back in June… is that I end up in far corners of the various constellations that are not well traveled, where the pickings are often easier than sticking around some trade hub like Amarr.
And, given how much time I spent in Amarr space between 2007 and 2011, I am kind of surprised how many systems the map says I have never visited, or haven’t visited in nearly two decades.
I passed through here 18 years ago…
I expect I will be able to knock out the 40 event cans I will need to open in an evening or two while listening to a podcast or something. Also, I want to get it done before the weekend because there are things brewing in null sec.
Otherwise I would have until downtime on Tuesday, November 3rd, which is early enough in the morning here that it effectively means being done by Monday, November 2nd.
