It has only been a couple of weeks since the Lexus IS350h F Sport Special Appearance was unveiled, but another limited-edition sedan is on the way. It is officially called the IS300h F Sport Mode Black VI, and as its name implies, it is the sixth iteration of the lineup, and it is, well, dark.
The car’s crowning feature is its exclusive BBS-painted 19-inch wheels. The rollers are forged aluminum, and as you can see, they are completely blacked out. The IS pictured above and below is finished in Titanium Carbide Gray, and those dark wheels tie the look together nicely.

While we don’t have a visual of the interior, the new IS will also get “F Sport Mode Black VI Ultrasuede,” which already sounds pretty dark—but premium, too. And that’s about it. This latest IS build is fairly straightforward, with no changes to its powertrain and other features.

That means the same 2AR-FSE 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain is on deck, along with a rear-wheel drive setup. Interestingly, this hybrid F Sport variant is not available in the Philippines. Instead, we get the IS350 F Sport with a naturally aspirated V6.

While the Special Appearance IS will only see 350 units, it is still unclear just how limited the new F Sport Mode Black VI release will be. With that, we can probably expect this sedan to stay in Japan, as it is scheduled to go on sale there on October 1, 2026.
