How much of the whole Star Wars universe do you know?

With 3 original movies, 3 prequels (we chose to forget the sequels), about 14 TV shows (both animated and live-action), all the PlayStation games, the comics, the novels, and so on, the original Star Wars world is way bigger than it was when the first movies came out. We barely have enough time to keep up with everything that keeps coming out.

Our lives are busy, and we don't have much time for our hobbies as it is, and with Disney dropping so much material on us, we are feeling terribly overwhelmed. The upside is that we don't need to watch, play, read, and analyze every single piece of Star Wars content that comes out. That is simply not possible for most of us. We can keep being fans and loving this universe, whether we have the time to watch everything or not.

The basics are the first 3 movies and the 3 sequels. There's a debate whether you should watch them for the first time in chronological order or in the order they came out. Both have their upsides and downsides, so just ask your closest Star Wars fan which one they prefer, and go from there.

As for the TV shows, we have to be more selective. We believe that the two most relevant are 'The Clone Wars' and 'The Bad Batch', mostly because we get to see some of the characters from the movies, and they fill the blanks for us to know what happened in between the prequels. Chronology here is a bit tricky, so make sure to research it well to avoid getting confused. Trust us, it can get really confusing at first.

With the live-action shows, we have a different story. The thing is, many of them are not actually indispensable. They give out extra info, but that's it, and some of them are not even that good. Our recommendations are 'Andor' and 'The Mandalorian.' Again, with Andor, there's a bit of a chronological issue: it goes before another movie, Rogue One, that also serves as a prequel to the originals. It's definitely one of the best movies, so give it a chance. You can watch it before or after Andor. The experience will be different depending on what you choose, so keep that in mind.

The Mandalorian goes after episode 6, so you can go ahead and watch that. Except for season 3. Before season 3, you might want to watch The Book of Boba Fett to get the whole context. And this is pretty much it, for starters. Feel free to keep watching, reading, and playing as much as you want. And if you have already seen all of the above and more, you'll definitely enjoy this collection of memes we gathered for you!
