Mazda and Seiko have collaborated once again to bring motorists a sleek chronograph watch. The Mazda Chronograph is the automotive brand’s third collaboration with Seiko, following the Mazda Spirit Racing Chronographs released in 2024 and 2025.

Unlike the first two releases, the Mazda Chronograph features a clean-looking design that’s “stripped down to the essentials.” It’s a versatile timepiece that can suit formal and casual occasions and fits Mazda’s “beauty in simplicity” approach.

The face is inspired by an instrument panel and uses the ‘Mazda Type’ font for the numbers and lettering. The watch has a gray dial, contrasted by black subdials, and red and silver accents. Both Seiko and Mazda logos can be seen near the three-o’clock position, while ‘ESTD. 1920 Hiroshima, Japan’ is written below the Mazda logo as a nod to the automotive company’s roots.

The crystal uses Curved Hardlex, an arched version of Seiko’s signature glass, creating a 3D effect when looking at the watch from different angles. The stainless steel case measures 47.2mm lug-to-lug, 39.2mm wide, and 11.4mm thick.

Inside, the Mazda Chronograph houses a quartz movement with an average monthly difference of 15 seconds. The movement is sealed by a laser-engraved caseback and is protected from water damage for up to 100 meters.

The watch comes with interchangeable bands—a metal bracelet and a leather strap. The bracelet is made of stainless steel, while the black-colored strap is made of cowhide leather. The entire package comes in a special-edition box.

The Mazda Chronograph costs ¥69,300 (around P28,000) plus shipping, and can be ordered through Mazda’s official merchandise shop. Online sales started on October 23, while Japan-based dealers should have stock starting October 29. Will you be considering this watch as your next piece?
