The Office fans will soon witness a brand-new spin-off series on Peacock ahead of The Paper Season 2. The upcoming project dives deeper into the enduring legacy and massive cultural impact of NBC’s iconic workplace sitcom.
Fan Level Midnight: Devoted to The Office, a six-part docuseries based on The Office will make its Peacock debut on September 7, 2026.
Directed by Shawn Cauthen, the project serves as an ideal lead-in for The Paper Season 2, which premieres on Peacock two days later on September 9, 2026.
Fan Level Midnight revisits the moments that shaped The OfficeFan Level Midnight: Devoted to The Office explores the devoted community behind the hit comedy through rare archival footage, never-before-heard stories, and original interviews with cast and creatives, including Kathy Bates, Seth Rogen, and Andy Buckley.
The docuseries will throw light on the people whose lives have been changed by The Office, from fans who found community and connection through the series to those who have carried lessons from the show into their own lives.
According to the official description, “The Office isn’t just a show people love to watch, it’s a world fans continue to live in, celebrate, and pass on.”
Fan Level Midnight has John Matthews and Cauthen as the producers. Tim Ogletree and Jeremy Loethen have served as the executive producers.
Once they are done watching Fan Level Midnight, The Office fans can prepare themselves for The Paper Season 2. The next chapter of the American mockumentary series will bring back the employees of the Toledo Truth Teller.
The returning cast includes Domhnall Gleeson as Ned, Sabrina Impacciatore as Esmeralda, Chelsea Frei as Mare, Melvin Gregg as Detrick, and Gbemisola Ikumelo as Adelola. Oscar Nuñez will also return to reprise his role of Oscar Martinez from The Office.
The Paper is co-created and executive produced by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman.
