African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain and Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo has declared President Bola Tinubu unfit to lead Nigeria, accusing him of plunging the country into severe hardship.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Okonkwo said Tinubu’s administration, which began on May 29, 2023, has subjected Nigerians to widespread suffering.

“Tinubu is unfit to rule. He has brought us to the wilderness of hunger, disease, and death,” Okonkwo stated.

He argued that the government has failed to meet citizens’ basic needs amid soaring living costs, persistent insecurity, and deepening economic difficulties.

Okonkwo further claimed the president lacks both the physical fitness and leadership capacity required for the role and should step aside.

The ADC chieftain called on Nigerians to reject the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections and elect a capable leader who can steer the nation out of its current challenges.
