Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 27 Task Force Brigade have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator in Kanamma town, Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State.
Security sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that the suspect was apprehended at about 12:15 p.m. on October 17 during ongoing security operations in the area.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was on the wanted list in connection with several terrorist activities within the brigade’s area of responsibility.
The sources added that troops have intensified efforts to dismantle terrorist networks across the North East, reinforcing military operations aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
