This Superformance GT40 Mk II is powered by a twin-turbocharged 427ci Keith Craft V8 linked with a six-speed sequential transaxle. It was acquired by the owner in 2023, and work since has included a repaint in its current silver and black scheme along with repairing the doors and replacing the radiator and battery. The car is also equipped with an AEM engine management system, a front suspension lift system, adjustable remote-reservoir shocks, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, 17″ knock-off wheels, air conditioning, and a Kenwood touchscreen stereo. This Superformance GT40 is now offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner with service records and an Indiana title.
The fiberglass bodywork was refinished in silver with black stripes following the removal of prior green painted sections. Exterior details include front hood vents, an exposed front cooling opening, quick-release front body hardware, twin rear deck air scoops, side air intakes, clear side windows with sliding ventilation panels, rear mesh panels, a rear spoiler, dual center-exit exhaust outlets, and an exposed rear chassis and drivetrain structure. The door hinges and striker were adjusted in July 2026.
The 17″ GT40-style wheels feature gray centers, polished lips, and three-ear knock-off spinners. They are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires measuring 245/40 up front and 335/35 out back. The car is equipped with power steering, power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable remote-reservoir shock absorbers, and a front lift system.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black Alcantara and are fitted with DJ Safety multi-point racing harnesses. Equipment includes air conditioning, a fire extinguisher, a push-button ignition system, GT40-embroidered floor mats, and a Kenwood touchscreen audio system linked to a retractable display, door-mounted speakers, and a subwoofer.
The MOMO-style steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub. A Holley EFI digital instrument display provides a GPS-based speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for oil pressure, fuel pressure, coolant temperature, and system voltage. A sequential gear indicator is also present. The digital odometer shows 91 miles.
The 427ci Ford V8 was built by Keith Craft and features a Dallas Performance twin-turbocharger system with heat shielding. Additional equipment includes an air-to-water intercooler, a front-mounted heat exchanger, billet intake components, electronic fuel injection, an AEM engine management system, custom intake plumbing, and electric cooling fans. A chassis dyno test yielded 850 horsepower and 746 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. In 2026, the radiator and battery were replaced, and the cooling system was serviced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential transaxle with an electronic shifting system and a KCM twin-disc clutch.
The Indiana title carries a “REBUILT VEHICLE” brand.
