In the past couple years, an Australian quietly has been making some noise in the UFC's lightweight division.

Saturday, Tom Nolan (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) brings a five-fight winning streak to his first UFC main event, and he'll do it against a recent lightweight title challenger: Renato Moicano (21-7-1 MMA, 13-7 UFC).

Nolan, who has appeared on just two UFC main cards, will seek his biggest win yet when he takes on Moicano, who was called into emergency title challenge mode at UFC 311 in January 2025. When Arman Tsarukyan had to pull out of his title shot against then-champ Islam Makhachev on weigh-ins day, Moicano moved up from a fight with Beneil Dariush to challenge for the belt. He was submitted in the first round

Nolan's resume doesn't feature the same level of names as Moicano has faced in his 20 bouts in the promotion, but 13 months ago his most impressive outing got him his lone UFC performance bonus thus far when he tapped out Charlie Campbell.

Ahead of his Saturday headliner against Moicano at UFC Fight Night 292 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, take a look at Nolan's brilliant submission of Campbell in the video above.
