Ravichandran Ashwin criticised the BCCI for excluding Yashasvi Jaiswal from India’s ODI squad against New Zealand, calling the decision "unfair and unfortunate". He believes Jaiswal deserved an opportunity in the final two matches while Shubman Gill rests. Ashwin warned that limited game time could damage Jaiswal’s confidence and urged selectors to support the talented batter ahead of next year’s ODI World Cup.
