B. Y. Vijayendra, the Karnataka BJP state president, claimed on Monday that more than 25 Congress MLAs, including ministers, are poised to defect to the BJP ahead of the state Assembly elections in Bengaluru, accusing the Congress government of political “debauchery” and mismanaging drought relief.
