The behind-the-scenes clip shows Harbour taking on a zip-line stunt as part of the film’s mall action. The sequence hints at the scale of the sequel’s set pieces, which look set to push the Christmas chaos further than the first movie.

The actress previously revealed that she spent five weeks training before filming began, working with stunt professionals to prepare for the physical role.

The two actors also discussed their characters at New York Comic Con. Harbour joked that the sequel is “basically Miracle on 34th Street with an enormous bloody hammer.” Bell, meanwhile, said she was excited to join the franchise after enjoying the original film.

Tommy Wirkola returns to direct, with Pat Casey and Josh Miller writing the sequel. The cast also includes Harris, Joe Pantoliano, Daniela Melchior, Andrew Bachelor, and professional wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
