Wait, that's my part? Nothing makes you question your skills quite like seeing your slide appear on the classroom screen. You understood your part last night. Now your partner has turned toward you, and the teacher is waiting.

The group chat made it seem so organized. Everyone picked a section. The most responsible student fo the group created the slideshow, and you did your part. You all agreed to practice before class, but that meant thirty seconds before class. Another group partner is still asking which topic he should pick.

Working on a group project seems to be really fun for teachers. Well, not so much for students. There's always the introvert student who does everything and then never gets the credit. Of course, the extroverts will do the presentation. Only if the teacher asks a question then the introvert answers. Naturally, no one in the group knew the answer but him. Besides, the entire group looked at him. It's hard to ignore the question now.

These group presentation memes bring back that classroom silence before your presentation begins. If your old classmates still have the group chat, sending a meme might be a good reason to reopen it. Someone will probably reply in seconds. Interesting. They couldn't do that when you needed their slides.

Then there's the panic when you reach a slide you haven't seen before. You hope it's not yours. There are a few sentences in tiny font and a picture that may or may not be relevant. Your teammate gestures toward it, as if that totally out-of-context picture should help you explain anything. Thank you, buddy. I would appreciate some verbal help from your side too, if you don't mind.

Working with friends also adds to the challenge. You know exactly which person you can't look at while you're speaking. If you give them one glance, that's enough to send you both laughing in the middle of the presentation. The teacher wouldn't like that. Nobody else in the classroom would understand what's funny about the water cycle, and trying to explain it would only make things worse.
