It is often remarked that the most extraordinary things in life come from the most mundane moments. Genius ideas that come while brushing your cat's fur, incredible job offers when you are muddling your way through your Monday meeting, or even a cute cat child waiting for you to put them in your basket as you stroll the aisles of Walmart. A cat like that is once in a lifetime and no matter the price that they ask for, you had better say yes and with gusto. Luckily for this cat lover, the feline was free, though she did have to buy some food and a carrier…which is a pretty clever sales scheme.
Nonetheless, a kitten was saved this day, perhaps not from immediate peril, or any danger at all other than some potentially unfortunate accidents. But what this woman did is provide love, stability and support for a cat who had none. A cat who was left to try and survive in a Walmart parking lot, making breaking into the department store the only reasonable thing to do. After all, this cat was looking for a home, and everything you need for a home can be found in that one place.
