If you pre-ordered a new MacBook Pro, you’re probably counting down the hours until it arrives. While you wait, you can get a look at it in action during a unique livestream from the Downtown LA Apple Store
At 11 pm ET, British singer, songwriter, composer, and record producer Labrinth will compose a song from scratch using the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display and Logic Pro. The whole process will be livestreamed on YouTube directly from the Apple Store, “allowing viewers to watch his creative inspiration unfold in real time and ask him questions as he works.”
The YouTube description merely says Labrinth will be “experimenting with some new ways of making music,” but it’s safe to assume Apple’s new touchscreen interface will be the star of the show. At the Pro and Tell experience, which also took place in LA, Apple demoed the new Touch capabilities of Logic, including playing a keyboard on the screen.
You can watch the livestream on Labrinth’s YouTube channel below and listen to the completed song next week on Apple Music.
