According to What’s On Netflix, A Quiet Place Part II leaves Netflix October 11, 2026. The post-apocalyptic horror movie first arrived back in May 2021. John Krasinski wrote, directed, and co-produced the sequel.

The movie continues the story from A Quiet Place. The first film was released back in 2018. The sequel once again follows the Abbott family as they struggle to survive a dangerous alien invasion after Lee Abbott death.

Evelyn Abbott continues raising her children after losing Lee while Regan and Marcus try to navigate the dangerous new world. Their situation becomes even more difficult afterward as the family begins searching for other survivors.

The deadly alien creatures remain a constant threat. The aliens are blind but have incredibly sensitive hearing. Even small sounds can quickly put people in danger. This makes silence extremely important for survival.

Regan discovers that high-frequency sounds weaken the creatures. She believes her discovery could help other survivors. The family then searches for safe place. The movie focuses heavily on silence and communication and blends horror with thriller elements.

Emily Blunt stars as Evelyn Abbott, while Cillian Murphy plays newcomer Emmett. Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe return as Regan and Marcus Abbot, respectively. It also features Djimon Hounsou, Scoot McNairy, John Krasinski and more.

Despite the post-pandemic release, the movie performed strongly. A Quiet Place Part II earned around $297 million worldwide. It also received strong reactions from critics and fans on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie currently holds a 91% critics score and has a 92% fan score.
