It’s hard not to like the Yamaha XSR900. It’s perhaps what you could call a ‘conventionally attractive’ bike. Not everyone will agree that the design is to die for, but it’s generally a solidly styled motorcycle.
If you’re not exactly the biggest fan of Yamaha’s neo-retro naked bike, maybe this will get you looking: the new Neon White colorway launched in the UK. It’s inspired by the YZF 750 of the ’90s. We’re drooling.

This new XSR900 gets a white tank accentuated by neon pink decals and a hint of purplish blue, with the same colors adorning the plastic trim below the seat. The Deltabox chassis and the 17-inch wheels underneath are finished in silver. If you think about it, the colorway is pretty basic, but those splashes of color just make the bike pop.

Mechanically, as expected, this Yamaha XSR900 is untouched. It still packs a familiar 890cc in-line-three engine that outputs 117.3hp at 10,000rpm and 93Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. It gets a six-speed manual transmission with a wet, multi-plate clutch.
Frankly, we couldn’t care less about the performance, becasue we already know what we’re getting. What we want to know is if Yamaha Motor Philippines is even considering launching the colorway here. If it is, we have a suggestion: Bring us that helmet and jacket combo, too. The Internet is asking for it.
