A three-year-old budding soccer star has gone viral after being kicked out of a kids league in Florida for being too good for his fellow players – which were years older than him.
The father of Nevada claims that rival parents had complained that his toddler son was controlling the ball too much and not passing to his teammates – leading to the police being called to the park.
The incident was documented on social media under the username @nevadaney10 on Instagram and TikTok, featuring several clips of the youngster showing off his impressive soccer skills.
But despite playing in a league alongside children that were five years old, a massive gap at that stage of development, Nevada was seen literally running circles around his opponents.
This apparently didn’t sit well with some parents and the league’s organizer, i9 Sports.
“They called the police on a three-year-old because he is too good,” the father said . “They called the police on a three-year-old because he has the ball for too long. And nobody else can get the ball. So, they called the police on him.”
In clips from the game in Winter Park, Fla., Nevada skillfully defends, dribbles the ball and scores several goals before the police arrive.
Viral video of police being called to a youth soccer game near Orlando, Florida, is drawing outrage, with some claiming the cops showed up because a 3-year-old child was too good, while the league's director says the call was made because the parents were being disruptive.

Why were the police called?
But while the parents insist that their son was kicked out because he’s “too good,” Jul Henry, the league’s director claims they had been “disruptive” and that Nevada was being too “aggressive” on the field, pushing other players.
“He’s been doing weird things to my son because my son actually plays soccer,” the mother told officers, referring to Henry . “They’re mad at my son because he actually plays soccer. So I’m confused and a little baffled because I signed my son up for soccer.
“They’re literally kicking him out of this place because he’s good at soccer.”
She also told police that her and Nevada’s father had been standing on the other side of the field, away from the other parents.
“What is the real issue? They have an issue with a three-year-old, because me and (Nevada’s father) haven’t done anything,” she said. “We stand on the other side. We don’t ever stand with the other parents, so we’re not getting into it with other parents.”
Nevada’s parents also disputed the allegations that the toddler had been pushing other players, posting a video with more game footage on Instagram and the caption: “This is the full game no cut no edit where is the pushing?”
Police noted that the parents were “cooperative” and left the field without further incident.
The officers also were seen joking that they wanted to stick around watch Nevada play, with one quipping that the three-year-old phenom was “probably better than me.”
What did the league say?
The league has since issued a refund to Nevada’s parents, as documented in a screenshot of a letter posted on Instagram. It also issued a statement regarding the incident.
