Im curious, watching the Liverpool vs Arsenal game now and I cant help but think games were much more exciting growing up.

Im now 34, I grew up with young Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Fowler at Liverpool, Henry, Bergkamp, Pires at Arsenal, Roy Keane, Becks, Neville at Utd.

Now its Witz, Mcallister, Gakpo, Havertz, Odegaard. What is this?

Is it just cus when youre young players seem more special. Do young people now look at these players like I did Gerrard, Owen, Keane, Becks etc?

It just seems so dead

The same could be said of the greats like Del Piero, Totti, Batistuta etc. Just seems gone these days
