Partner and I are buying a house soon and plan to (hopefully) have kids in the next few years. I love everything about the floorplan, except the stairwell...
We call these the "death stairs". Short enough on one side for a toddler to climb, tall enough on the other for them to fall and break their neck.
What to do about this?? Preferably something that looks nice and doesn't make the stairs feel too dark/cramped.
