Gym Progress Reflections

I just came home from the gym. Been training for a little more than a year now. My body has changed so much. The change might not look as dramatic, but I can lift much more than before and run much longer.

Still, I find myself wondering whether I'll be able to sustain this level of activity for a long time. I suppose not, but I'm still proud of having trained for more than a year. I never achieved this before, so it's a personal record, and I want to celebrate it.

Sometimes we think our personalities are too established to change. I'm here to tell you that if you make an effort, things you thought could never change actually do. I've met some amazing people along the way.

One day you realize everybody who's at the gym regularly is working hard to surpass their own limitations, slowly, day by day; and that's an enlightening duty. It teaches you how far you can go if you fight hard enough.

Every time you lift a weight heavier than the last, you learn that you can do what you thought you couldn't, and that knowledge immediately spreads to many other areas. It's been a journey, and I hope it sticks with me even if I slow down someday. I hope moving becomes a necessity, because it's been so rewarding and good for me and my body. I can proudly say it makes me happy.

Movement is life, guys! And even if you despise every minute of it, it gives you a great body! Also, you can eat more junk food without gaining weight. I don't care what you say; a win is a win.

So if you are about to start or quit, I brought a memelist to motivate you to get your workout done!
