Texas volleyball dropped a smidge in Monday's American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.

The Longhorns (9-7, 5-3 SEC) were previously ranked No. 12 in the country and fell two spots after sweeping Auburn and losing in five sets to Florida over the weekend. The Gators climbed in the rankings two spots in the rankings to No. 5.

With arguably the hardest part of Texas over, the Longhorns have to play two more teams that made its way into the rankings: No. 19 Texas A&M and No. 22 Vanderbilt. The Aggies are 11-8 after winning their first national championship last season. Vanderbilt, in its second season of a revived program, is 15-2.
