I've been seeing a few commercials and shows lately with aged/elder movie stars with this otherwise extravagant hair style (for someone their age) and I can't help but to think (as well as it may be done), "That has GOT to be a million-dollar toupee or hair plugs or something.. they can afford it. Balding is like, the ultimate Hollywood stigma for men, to be avoided at all costs - not even weight gain. I wonder what these guys would actually look like without Hollywood money..?" "That many men can't possibly be that lucky, could they?" Example: Billy Bob Thornton is 71.

Are there any older men in Hollywood that - for sure, didn't do any hair magic, and still manage to have a decent to great career, and maybe still look good, too?

EDIT to clarify: It's not even that BBT's a posterboy for baldness resistance or toupees or whatever, but the particular hair style in the photo makes it look that way. Just the color alone isn't very natural based on what we've already seen before on him, but he has "bangs", which make it look like he's fighting it for dear life.

I had seen another commercial with Steve Martin and Martin Short right after, which sparked this post. Steve's looked natural (he's been gray/white-haired all his life, it seems) but Short's is much harder to believe. Both are over 75 with full heads of hair. Not uncommon, but I have doubts it's natural.
