PlayStation has released a new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, showcasing its gameplay features and the titular hero’s costumes. The upcoming title comes from Insomniac Games, known for developing the Marvel’s Spider-Man titles and Ratchet & Clank. Earlier this month, fans got a glimpse of some of the costumes in the game through its Digital Deluxe Edition.
While most of the trailer focuses on gameplay and narrative, it also gives fans a look at many of the classic suits that Wolverine can wear in the game. It also includes a look at the various locations players will travel to throughout the course of its story. Players will also be able to customize the look of Wolverine’s claws in the game.

What do we see in the new Wolverine trailer?The new Marvel’s Wolverine trailer is narrated by Liam McIntyre, who voices and performs the motion capture for Logan in the game. Throughout the course of the video, McIntyre guides viewers through what awaits them in the game. This includes a look at its narrative, combat techniques, skill tree, passive abilities called “adaptations”, and other features. In Marvel’s Wolverine, players will need to build “rage”, which comes in three tiers, letting Logan unleash a flurry of special attacks.
It also reveals that Wolverine will be fighting against iconic X-Men villains like Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and more. The trailer also shows various outfits for Wolverine, including many comic-accurate classics. These include an Ultimate Red suit, Age of Apocalypse suit, the Incredible suit, a leather suit, and even one inspired by the character’s design in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
The upcoming game will be set in the same universe as Insomniac’s Spider-Man games. Other features included in the game are the photo mode, New Game+ mode, and several accessibility options.
Marvel’s Wolverine releases exclusively on PS5 on September 15, 2026. Those who own or purchase the base game can upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition for $10.
