We always talk about the power of the CDS. How it always finds us in the most unexpected times, in the most unexpected ways. And although we nearly never expect it when a cat adopts us, it always somehow happens at the purrfect time. We may think that we're not ready or that we can't do it, but the cats know better. They believe in us enough, and then, it just kind of… works out. That's how it happened for me, when I adopted my cat. I wasn't expecting it, I didn't think I could do it, and 11 years later, I give advice to new cat owners - in my purrsonal life and here on ICHC.
Maybe there is a reason for all of this. The CDS really does work in meowsterious ways. In some ways, it feels like the CDS is listening to us. That's why the cats always seem to come at the right time. But maybe it's not only listening to us. Maybe it's listening to everyone, including the ones of us who have crossed the rainbow bridge. At least, this is what the person in today's story has experienced. They are convinced that their late brother sent them on a mission to save some stray kittens in need of help. He loved cats, especially ginger cats, and before he passed, his sister asked him to send her cats. Guess what happened next? Signs. Signs everywhere. Ginger cats all over the place. And then, the biggest sigh, a pile of kittens waiting for her to save them.
