Isn't it too soon to feel nostalgic?

Being a millennial is so back, even though I thought it had never left.

I know it feels like yesterday, but the release of Baby by Justin Bieber was more than ten years ago, guys. It's been sixteen years, to be precise. So yes, we're allowed to feel nostalgic. And also, we're entitled to talk about it, as Gen Zers are trying to appropriate it as their own.

The 2010s are back in style, and finally, everything these children said was cringe about us millennials is all the rage. It's about time to show your moustache tattoos and rock your galaxy leggings. Put on your favourite flannel shirt and a pair of elasticized, high-waisted skinny jeans and show them what you're worth.

We were the ones scrolling through Tumblr till three in the morning. We were the ones listening to Lana Del Rey in our formative years and permanently altering our brain chemistry; we were there during the King Kyle era and wore the black lipstick first. It's our time to shine.

Let's face it, they can't do it as we did; they can't be as cringe as we were because they grew up on Instagram. There were far fewer cameras on us growing up, and that made us more genuine in a way.

That said, we can be thankful for them finally showing us some appreciation, and welcome them to our wonderful, millennial world.

Do you remember when Nicki Minaj released Super Bass? Those neons were a cultural reset for me, lol. It's time to show them what we're made of, but first, let's enjoy some millennial nostalgia to get the juices flowing.

I've curated a special meme list to remember such magical times and enjoy while the trend cycle lasts, so I hope you laugh!
