India captain Shreyas Iyer blamed heavy dew and the batting-friendly pitch for his team's six-wicket defeat against West Indies despite scoring 249. He praised Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford for their match-winning partnership. Hope, who scored an unbeaten 102, said partnerships and calculated risks were crucial to completing the challenging chase after West Indies lost two early wickets.
