Recently we decided to go to our local park. We go there regularly, not just for the focal points like the serene lake or the hidden bird hides in the dark woods (although these places are great for a nature lover like me). We go to my favourite nook.
To get there you must go off the beaten track, through the undergrowth and into a small, slightly uninteresting but peaceful opening where there are building-like fir trees and silver birches. At first, this hidden hideout seems dead silent, as if you were in the middle of nowhere.
