France head coach, Zinédine Zidane, has selected his four captains for the national team.

They are Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Adrien Rabiot and Jules Koundé.

Mbappé, who has made 106 appearances for Les Bleus will retain the armband.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Dembélé will be the vice-captain. The winger has 67 caps for France.

Adrien Rabiot (66) and Jules Koundé (56) round out the hierarchy.

According to RMC Sport, Zidane’s choices were notably guided by seniority in the national team.

Zidane replaced Didier Deschamps in the role after the 2026 World Cup.
